

Muscat: The Supreme Committee extending closure of all commercial activities while allowing the movement of individuals and vehicles in all governorates of the Sultanate between 8 pm to 5 am, starting on Thursday on April 8, 2021 till the 1st of Ramadan.
The committee decided to ban all commercial activities and ban on movement of individuals and vehicles from 9 pm until 4 am during the holy month of Ramadan
No Taraweeh prayers in any mosques.
The committee also decided to total ban all Ramadan gatherings such as “Iftar-sa’im” in mosques and other places such as tents and public assembling areas (Majlis or anything else).
Ban on all group activities – social, sports, cultural or any other collective activities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Entry to the Sultanate will be restricted only to Omani citizens and residency holders only, starting at 12 pm on Thursday April 8, 2021, stressing the need to avoid the travel of citizens and residents outside the Sultanate during the coming period unless absolutely necessary, especially with the stepping up of many countries to tighten travel and travel procedures The committee recommended limiting travel outside the Sultanate on official missions and foreign participations.
In continuation of the committee’s efforts to protect community members from this epidemic and its dangers, and to prevent its spread in work environments, the committee urges private sector companies to implement business continuity plans by working remotely and reducing the number of employees who are required to come to the workplace, similar to reducing the number of employees who are required to Attendance to workplaces in the units of the state’s administrative apparatus and other public legal persons.
On the occasion of the imminent advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the Supreme Committee raised its highest expressions of congratulations and blessings to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq – may God protect him – and to all members of the Omani people, and the Arab and Islamic nations, asking God Almighty to have this blessed month upon our dear homeland The whole world and everyone is healthy and well, with goodness and blessings.
