Oman observes International Day Against Drug Abuse 2024


Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman joins the countries of the world in celebrating World Drug Day 2024 (the International Day against Abuse of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances), which falls on 26 June.

The celebration of World Drug Day 2024 seeks to enhance international cooperation in the field of combating the abuse of narcotics and psychotropic substance, review world countries’ policies and procedures in this respect, define the common challenges and difficulties, develop appropriate solutions and raise awareness among members of societies about the problems involved in the abuse of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
