Muscat: The Board of Directors of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) held a regular meeting during which it approved the programme of its participation in events abroad for this year (2023).
The schedule was outlined as follows: The 15th Arab Sports Games in Algeria from 5 to 15 July, World Beach Games in Bali, Indonesia, from 5 to 12 August, the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from 23 September to 8 October, the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Bangkok from 17 to 26 November and the first GCC Junior Sports Tournament in the United Arab Emirates next December.
Consulting minutes of recent meetings, the OOC Board instructed the management to address concerns expressed by some board members. It also approved the financial standing as at the end of May 2023.
