Oman opens registration to participate in London International Youth Science Forum

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation announced the opening of registration for students studying in scientific disciplines in higher education institutions, to participate in the London International Young ScienceForum for the year 2023, which will be held from July 26 to August 9 under the title (Science for Unity), where registration continues until April 16, via the following link: https://orp.trc.gov.om/awards/liysf/sub.

When registering to participate in the fifth edition of this forum, it is required that the applicant’s age ranges between (19-21 years), that he has interest and passion in scientific fields, that he is enrolled in university studies in one of the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and that he is active in research projects or scientific competitions, and he must also have the ability to communicate socially, and he has not previously participated in the London International Forum for Young Scientists, in addition to proficiency in the English language in speaking and writing, and after the end of the specified period for registration, applications will be sorted to choose those who meet the conditions by A specialized committee then qualifies for a personal interview with the evaluation committee, which will announce the names of students qualified to participate.

The ministry’s participation in the forum aims to increase scientific awareness among young researchers. By giving them the opportunity to meet with their peers from different countries of the world, and to inform them of the latest findings of scientists in various fields of research and knowledge, and to provide an opportunity for young Omani researchers to benefit from successful research experiences and distinguished scientific programmes.
