Oman to host first Oasis of Dialogue Forum

Muscat: Under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, the distinguished Governor of Dhofar, the QatarDebate Center and the OmanDebate Center, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, will organize next Sunday the Oasis of Dialogue Forum for the first time in the Sultanate of Oman under the title “Identity and Tourism in the Gulf” with the participation of a number of officials, dignitaries and elites in the GCC countries.

The two-day forum includes training workshops, dialogues, and intensive sessions, and discusses specialized topics in leisure tourism, sports, and culture. Salem Al-Shamakhi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amman Debate, said that organizing this event with the QatarDebate Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth is a reflection of our commitment to enhancing dialogue and exchanging visions and ideas, which contributes to the richness of youth activities and strengthens cultural ties between young people in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Al-Shamakhi pointed out that the forum creates a wide space for dialogue between young people and specialists in light of the Gulf countries’ efforts to attract international activities in various fields that would enhance tourism in the GCC countries.

It is worth noting that the Oasis of Dialogue Forum is an ongoing and ongoing initiative by the QatarDebate Center and aims to provide a constructive environment for dialogue and the exchange of ideas and theses, in multiple and diverse fields that address the most prominent things that societies and their elites are thinking about and the issues and events they are experiencing. The Oasis also follows the method of active interactive dialogue away from Monopolizing the discourse platform or source of presentation by an entity or party.
