    • Oman participates in 13th meeting of the Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Departments in the GCC

    Doha: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the 13th meeting of the Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Departments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which was held in Doha, Qatar.

    The delegation was headed by His Excellency Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between Gulf tax authorities and administrations, and improve the efficiency of tax systems in the GCC countries.

    The meeting also addressed the best practices followed and combating tax evasion, to build a more just and transparent Gulf tax system.
