Oman takes part in Global forum for Food and Agriculture 2024 in Berlin

Berlin: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, the Omani Investment Authority, represented by the Omani Food Investment Holding Company “Nataj” and the Oman Fish Development Company, participated in the activities of the 16th Global Forum on Food and Agriculture, which is held in Berlin, from 17 to January 20, under the slogan “Food Systems for the Future: Together for a World Free of Hunger.”

The forum aims to intensify and accelerate the international dialogue on agricultural policies, with the participation of about 2,000 international guests of experts from the worlds of politics, business and science, with the broad participation of public and private sector companies and institutions, unions, universities, and civil society institutions.

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman, which also participated in the opening of Berlin Green Week 2024, was headed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture.
