Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, took part in the 1st version of Arab Water Forum.
Oman’s delegation was led by Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Abri, Water Resources Undersecretary.
Being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the three-day forum aims to highlight a spectrum of pivotal issues which cover the importance of pumping investments in the innovating technology to enhance abundance and exploit non-traditional water resources.
The forum also explores projects applicable for finance and regional initiatives that offer investment opportunities for the private sector. It also discusses the bilateral support in areas of climate adaptation.
The forum also lays emphasis on the importance of expansion in implementing non-conventional water projects to achieve sustainable development and support the green economy. – ONA
