Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Financial and Administrative Control Authority and a number of concerned units, is participating today in the second meeting of the Anti-Corruption Working Group within the Group of Twenty in the Republic of India.
During its second meeting, the Anti-Corruption Working Group will complete the discussion of high-level principles for issues of enhancing the integrity and effectiveness of public agencies and bodies responsible for preventing and combating corruption, strengthening mechanisms for recovering assets related to corruption crimes, mutual legal assistance between agencies and bodies concerned with combating corruption, and enhancing cooperation in the field of enforcement of anti-corruption laws. corruption.
The meeting, which lasts 4 days, will also discuss important practices on the role of supreme oversight and accounting institutions in preventing and combating corruption.
