Oman participates in 39th Ministerial Meeting of COMCEC

Istanbul: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Economy, took part in the 39th ministerial session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Istanbul, the Repulic of Türkiye.

Oman’s delegation in the session was headed by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy.

The session discussed a range of topics, namely what has been implemented of the COMCEC strategy, the executive programme of the OIC and international economic developments, among other topics.

During a session for the exchange of views, Al Saqri delivered a speech in which he highlighted Oman’s experience regarding several initiatives aimed at enhancing and developing the e-commerce field.  – ONA
