Oman participates in 66th Commission on the Status of Women in New York

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, is participating in the 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations  in New York, USA, which started on the 14th of March and ends on the 25th of this March. The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman is headed by His Excellency Dr. Laila Bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

During the work of this session, Her Excellency the Minister of Social Development delivered the speech of the Sultanate of Oman today (Wednesday, March 16, 2022 AD), in the presence of His Excellency Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, and His Excellency Matthew Guenny, Chairperson of the Commission on the Status of Women. Her Excellency said in the speech: The Sultanate of Oman believes that human It is the axis of development, its goal and purpose.
