Oman participates in 8th Meeting of GCC Ministers of Tourism

Doha: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, participated today in the Qatari capital in the eighth meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers and Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries responsible for tourism in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the meeting was headed by His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.

The meeting discussed the Gulf strategy for tourism and the development of joint work in the tourism and heritage sectors in the GCC countries.

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, chaired last October the seventh meeting, which was held at the Oman Museum via Al-Zaman in the Wilayat of Manah in Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate, where he discussed benefiting from the opportunities and capabilities enjoyed by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
