Oman participates in Arab Productive Families Exhibition in Egypt

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, is participating in the Arab Productive Families Exhibition in Egypt under the slogan “The Arab House”, with 4 productive families in the field of silverware, perfumes, incense, cosmetics and the frankincense industry.

Jamila bint Salem Jadad, Assistant Director General for Family Development at the Ministry of Social Development, head of the Omani delegation, said: The Arab Republic of Egypt was able to gather a large number of productive families from various Arab countries to participate in the exhibition, and the participation of Omani families came with products inspired by the Omani local environment.

On the sidelines of the opening of the exhibition, a symposium on marketing the products of productive families was held, during which working papers were presented to a number of Arab countries, and pioneering experiences of some countries were presented on how to market family products through investing in social media, which has become a modern method in marketing, in addition to the importance of having trained and capable cadres. To train these families in various fields from the moment of production to sales and marketing outlets.
