    • Oman participates in Baku International Book Fair 2024

    Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is participating in the Baku International Book Fair, which begins tomorrow and continues until October 8, in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan.

    This participation comes within the strategic objectives aimed at introducing Omani culture and enhancing the presence of Omani intellectual production in international forums, in accordance with the Ministry’s vision to expand participation in international book fairs.

    The Ministry has set up the activation of the Omani pavilion as a literary and knowledge forum through which visitors can learn about the Sultanate of Oman, past and present. Therefore, the Ministry has been keen to provide its pavilion with an expanded list of publications and various titles in various literary, artistic, intellectual and scientific specializations, especially translated publications.

    The cultural participation in the exhibition aims to activate the field of cultural cooperation between the two countries and intellectual and literary communication, and to enhance cultural exchange in the fields of authorship and to activate the publishing movement and what is related to printing and book production, in addition to introducing Omani writers in various countries of the world.
