Oman participates in Extraordinary Session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) in Istanbul

Istanbul: The Sultanate of Oman participated today in the extraordinary meeting of information ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries in the Turkish city of Istanbul. To discuss the Israeli occupation’s attacks on journalists in the occupied Palestinian territories and its practices to mislead world public opinion.

The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation to the meeting was headed by His Excellency Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.

The meeting will discuss the Israeli occupation attacks that caused the death of civilians, 130 journalists in the Gaza Strip since October 7, and false and misleading news of global public opinion.

The meeting aims to exchange ideas and coordinate policy-making efforts within the Islamic Organization to confront and stand up to the misleading media campaigns of the Israeli occupation.
