Oman participates in Financial Sector Conference in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the second edition of the financial sector conference, which started today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the slogan “Promising Financial Horizons”. It aims to set an agenda for the financial sector for this year and explore innovative solutions to the challenges facing it, will last for two days .

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman is headed by His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance.

The discussion axes of this conference focus on several topics, most notably the challenges and opportunities of the global economy related to high levels of inflation and interest rates, in addition to the weakness of the supply chain and the slowdown in global economic growth, in addition to discussing the flexibility of financial institutions and their coping with the new financial reality in light of modern technologies, investment and green financing, and the future of the financial sector in light of digitization.
