Oman Participates in GCC-EU High Level Forum on Regional Security

Luxemburg: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Foreign Ministry, took part in the High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation between the GCC and the European Union, held in Luxemburg.

Oman’s delegation was chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs. The forum discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the GCC countries and the European Union countries.

It also touched on the tragic conditions in the Gaza Strip and the necessity of a ceasefire. It stressed the importance of maintaining peace in the Middle East and establishing an independent Palestinian state.
