Oman participates in Global Media Forum in Azerbaijan’s Shusha

Baku: The Ministry of Information, represented by the Omani News Agency, participated in the “New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution” forum in Shusha, Republic of Azerbaijan.

The opening of the forum, which will last until July 23, was sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Ilham Heydar Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

More than 150 journalists and specialists representing 49 countries are participating in the forum, in addition to 60 participants from leaders and representatives of local media in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During its session, the forum will discuss media developments in light of changes in the world, exchange of experiences between media institutions, development of media relations, and various media issues.

It is noteworthy that the “New Media Forum in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” hosted by the city of Shusa, the pearl of Karabakh, is being held on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press.
