

Beijing: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, is currently taking part in the Global Sustainable Transport Forum, held in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
Eng. Said Hamoud Al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology leads Oman’s delegation in the two-day forum themed “Sustainable Transport: Working Together to Promote Global Development”.
Over 50 countries and organizations, as well as leaders of the transportation and logistics sectors, representatives of regional and international organizations, and senior CEOs of major transportation companies around the world are taking part in the forum. On the sidelines of his participation, Eng. Al Ma’awali held a meeting with Eng. Saleh Al Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between Oman and the KSA, and means of promoting them in various fields of transport and logistics.
