Oman Participates in OIC 49th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Nouakchott

Nouakchott:  The Sultanate of Oman took part today in the 49th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, hosted by the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott. The meeting was themed “Moderation: The Key to Security and Stability”.

Oman’s delegation was headed in the meeting by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs.

President Mohammed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania inaugurated the meeting.

The meeting discussed a set of topics of concern to OIC member states.

Moreover, Oman’s delegation included Sheikh Saif Hilal Al Ma’amari, Ambassador of Oman to Mauritania and several officials from the Foreign Ministry. – ONA
