Oman participates in preparatory meeting of Undersecretaries responsible for tourism in GCC countries

Doha: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, participated today in the preparatory meeting of Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries Responsible for Tourism in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman was represented by His Excellency Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism. During the meeting, the work of the joint Gulf team to implement the Gulf Tourism Strategy was discussed, and a number of topics aimed at enhancing cooperation in the tourism sector as an engine for economic development and cultural communication in the GCC countries.

The participants in the meeting submitted the decisions to be discussed and approved at the eighth meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers responsible for tourism in the GCC countries, which will be held tomorrow, Monday.
