Oman Participates in Qatar International Agricultural and Environmental Exhibition

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the 9th Qatar International Agricultural and Environmental Exhibition 2022 and the Third Qatar International Environmental Exhibition, which are organized by the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in Doha during the period from March 10 to 14, 2022.

His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary for Agriculture, represented the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the opening ceremony sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, His Excellency the Minister of Municipality, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Heads of delegations of the participating countries.

About 40 countries participated in the exhibition, represented by more than 650 international and local companies in the sectors of agriculture, livestock, environment and food.

His Excellency the Undersecretary for Agriculture, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman accredited to the State of Qatar and the accompanying delegation visited the Omani pavilion participating in the exhibition, and the number of Omani companies and institutions participating in the exhibition reached 30 companies and institutions.
