Omani poets participates in Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival

Muscat: Omani poets Muhammad Al-Maashari, Yousef Al-Kamali and Shamissa Al-Numaniyah participate in the 20th session of the Sharjah Arabic Poetry Festival, the activities continue until January 15th.

The festival includes multiple readings by about 60 Arab poets, including Ali Al-Shaali (UAE) and Arif Al-Saadi (Iraq), who won the Sharjah Prize for Arab Poetry (12th session). The poetry events are distributed between the Palace of Culture in Sharjah and the Literary Council in Khor Fakkan, and participants include: Dr. Abdullah Al-Khudair, Hassan Al-Zahrani (Saudi Arabia), Salem Al-Rumaidi (Kuwait), Ali Hajib, Al-Abbas Muhammad (Mauritania), Hassan Ibrahim Al-Hassan (Syria), Al-Sir. Matar, Sherihan Al-Tayeb (Sudan), Ahmed Shalabi, Dr. Mahmoud Hassan (Egypt).

Among the festival’s poets: Omar Al-Azmi, Nofal Al-Saidi (Morocco), Khaled Al-Aithan, Omar Al-Saray (Iraq), Jaafar Hijawi, Muhammad Al-Amoush (Jordan). , Dr. Muhammad Al-Najjar (Tunisia), Ibrahim Toure (Senegal), Mr. Ahmed Al-Alawi (Bahrain), Haroun Omari, Soumaya Douifi (Algeria), Amdou Ibrahim (Niger), Ahmed Al-Muftah (Qatar), Dr. Moeen Al-Kaldi (Yemen) , Jibril Adam Jibril (Chad), Asma Al Hammadi, Najat Al Dhaheri (UAE).
