Kuala Lumpur: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, took part today in the Terengganu International Summit 2023 on the comprehensiveness of Islam. The summit, held in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, saw a large number of participants from various Islamic countries.
The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman at the summit was headed by Sheikh Ahmed Saud Al Siyabi, Secretary General of the Iftaa Office at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The event was held under the theme “Comprehensiveness of Islam in Facing Global Challenges”.
Al Siyabi delivered Oman’s speech in which he said that Muslims must achieve unity and coexistence among themselves. He pointed out that building bridges of positive acquaintance with other nations constitutes the cornerstone of coexistence.
The summit dealt with various concepts, including methods of the call for Islam in multi-ethnic communities, Islamic politics and pillars of unity within the Islamic nation. -ONA
