Oman participates in the 41st GCC Interior Ministers’ meeting

Doha: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Interior, participated today in the 41st meeting of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which was held in Doha.

The meeting discussed a number of topics that enhance the joint Gulf security cooperation process and effective coordination in security fields to achieve security and stability in the region. The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation was headed by His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar and Chairman of the current session, expressed his thanks to the Sultanate of Oman, Chairman of the previous session, headed by His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, for its efforts and the gains and achievements made during its presidency, which contributed significantly and effectively to enhancing security cooperation among member states.
