Oman participates in the 68th meeting of ARABOSAI in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the State Financial and Administrative Audit Institution, participated in the 68th meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Ghassan bin Hilal Al Alawi, Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority. The meeting reviewed the report of the Chairman of the Executive Council on the Council’s activity since the 67th meeting, the report of the General Secretariat on its activity at the same meeting, in addition to the reports of the committees affiliated with the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI).

The meeting will conclude its work by approving the final account for the year 2023, approving the estimated budget for the year 2025, in addition to discussing and considering the cooperation agreement with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and approving the interim and final assessments.
