Beijing: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, is participating in the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Centre for UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ICUA), held in Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China, and will continue until September 21.
The meeting will discuss several main topics, including international partnerships, the approval of the center’s annual plans and programs for the years 2024-2025, the center’s structure, the budget for 2025, and the recommendations of governmental institutions and regional and international organizations with which the center works.
The meeting will be accompanied by visits to some Chinese schools affiliated with UNESCO, to view their educational programmes, in addition to visits to some heritage sites registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
