Muscat: Oman petrol and diesel prices to increase due to VAT starting from tomorrow.
The implementation of the value-added tax law, which was defined by Royal Decree No. 121/2020, will begin, and the value-added represents an indirect tax, the value of which the consumer will bear.
The value-added tax includes to fuel prices in the Sultanate, starting tomorrow, as follows:
M91: 215 baisa / liter
M95: 227 baisa / liter
Diesel: 233 baisa / liter
The fuel prices for the month of April before the VAT includes as follows:
M91: 205 baisa / liter
M95: 216 baisa / liter
Diesel: 222 baisa / liter
