    Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) thwarted smuggling of more than 46,000 boxes of prohibited cigarettes into Oman.

    In a statement ROP said: “The South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command thwarted the smuggling of more than 46,000 boxes of banned cigarettes after the defendants smuggled them across the sea and loaded them into two trucks.”
