Oman Post, Asyad Express Partner with SMEs to Provide Postal Services in various governorates

Muscat (ONA): Oman Post and Asyad Express, an affiliate of Asyad Group, in cooperation with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED), today announced that beginning of registration for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to provide and courier services in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The registration began today and will be ongoing for one week.

Nasser Ahmed Al Sharji, CEO of Oman Post and Asyad Express said that this initiative came within the framework of utilizing sale outlets and increasing postal service points all over Oman.

Nasser Ahmed Al Sharji added that the number of new outlets set up by the company through its partners in the private sector reached 107. Those outlets contributed to boosting postal revenues as they rose by 43% in the Governorate of Muscat.

Another 48 outlets are planned to be set up by the end of the fourth quarter in 2022, which will bring the total number of outlets to 213.
