    • Oman Post inaugurates Crystal Coated Stamp of His Majesty Sultan Haitham

    Muscat (ONA): Oman Post company on Wednesday inaugurated the crystal coated postal stamp named after His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik.

    The stamp derives inspiration from the first stamp ever coined “His Majesty Sultan Haitham” by Oman Post last year.

    The new issue marks the opening of Oman Post’s “stamps & Antiques” outlets at opera Galleria here. The outlet will be a centre of attraction for philatelists and people who have a flare for rare antique about the Sultanate’s culture. HH Sayyid Kamil Fahd Al Said graced the occasion.

    The new outlet constitutes a shift forward in the Sultanate’s approach to eternalize Omani cultural and artistic treasures through concept imaging of “man-and-history” symbols (in the form of postal stamps).

    The outlet also includes books and other items of interest.
