Oman ranked 7th globally in quality of life index: Numbeo

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is ranked seventh in the world in quality of life index, according to the index issued by the global database “Numbeo”.

The Sultanate of Oman is ranked seventh globally in the quality of life index, and first place in the Arab world, and advanced in the index after being ranked eighth globally in the year 2023.

Globally, Luxembourg came first, followed by Netherlands, and Iceland. As for the Arab Word, the UAE is ranked second, followed by Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Numbeo’s 2024 Quality of Life Index is based on several criteria, including purchasing power, pollution, housing affordability, cost of living, crime rates, health system quality, and traffic commute.
