Oman ranks 1st in Asia, Arab World in Quality of Life index

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman ranked 8th in the world and first in Asia and the Arab world in the Quality of Life Index 2023, according to the word data encyclopedia, Numbeo.

The Netherlands topped the list with 196.7 points, with Denmark in second place with 194.7 points. Also ranked high are: Switzerland (3rd), Luxembourg (4th), Finland (5th), Iceland (6th), Austria (7th), Australia (9th) and Norway (10th).

The Sultanate of Oman, with a very high score of 184,7 points, also topped the list among the Asia and the Arab countries. Japan came in 13th in the world with 176.3 points, the UAE came in 15th in the world with 175.7 points, Qatar came in 20th in the world with 167.5 points, Saudi Arabia came in 32nd in the world with 151.8 points and Kuwait came in 49th in the world with 125 points.
