The Sultanate ranked 64 globally, with a score of 1,889 points, and was ranked with Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and the UAE as the best Arab country in the World Peace Index for the year 2022 .
Iceland topped the index, which includes 163 countries, followed by New Zealand, followed by Ireland, while Afghanistan came at the end of the ranking, followed by Yemen, followed by Syria, followed by Russia.
