Oman ranks third in Arab World in Cost of Local Transport: report

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman ranked third in the Arab world in terms of the cost of local transportation, according to the index issued by the global database “Numbeo”.

The Sultanate came after the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon in terms of the cost of local transportation, where the price of a one-way ticket is 1.3$, compared to 1.36$ in the United Arab Emirates, and 1.33$  in Lebanon.

Norway is ranked as the most expensive country in the world in the cost of local transportation, with a one-way ticket price of 3.99$, followed by Iceland and Switzerland.

Moldova is ranked as the cheapest country in the world in the cost of local transportation, where the price of a one-way ticket is  0.10$, followed by Sri Lanka 0.14$ and Uzbekistan 0.14$. 

Algeria came as the cheapest Arab country in the cost of local transportation, where the price of a one-way ticket is 0.17$.
