Muscat: Oman receives Second batch of COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday, 9th January 2021, with a total of 11,700 doses.
In a statement MOH said: This batch of vaccines will be used to supplement coverage of the same target groups in the first phase, which includes groups of community including, dialysis patients, chronic lungs diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma with moderate to sever severity of disease, interstitial lung disease) and diabetes patients ages 65 years and older.
Also includes categories of health workers, including, ICU workers, staff working in Covid-19 words, health workers suffering from obesity, dialysis, diabetes and chronic lung diseases.
MOH also appreciates the outstanding response of individuals during the first phase of the National Campaign for immunization against Covid-19
