    • Oman records 4415 COVID-19 cases, 46 deaths in 3 days

    Muscat: The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 4,415 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid 19) within 3 days, including 2,658 Omanis, and 1,757 non-Omanis, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 234,634.

    Also, 46 ​​new deaths from the Corona virus (Covid 19) were recorded, bringing the cumulative total of deaths to 2,513 cases.

    The distribution of numbers during the 3 days was as follows:

    Thursday: 1622 injuries / 15 deaths.
    Friday: 1311 injuries / 7 deaths.
    Saturday: 1482 injuries / 24 deaths.

    The total number of people recovering from the Corona virus in the Sultanate reached 210,952, bringing the cure rate to 90%.

    The number of inpatients during the past 24 hours reached 153, bringing the total of inpatients to 1180, including 374 in intensive care.

    The Ministry called on all citizens and residents to constantly clean hands with soap and water, avoid touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, follow healthy habits when sneezing and coughing, and fully adhere to the instructions for social and physical distancing issued by the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health.
