Muscat: The highest temperature recorded in the Sultanate of Oman during last 24 hours was at the Hamra Ad Duru station.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, “Hamra Ad Duru station recorded 47.6 degrees celsius as the highest temperature recorded in the meteorological stations on 28th August during last 24 hours. Fahud station recorded 47.5 degrees celsius, Sunaynah station recorded 47.3 degrees celsius, Maqshin 46.6 degrees celsius, Dema wa Taeen 46.4 degrees celsius, Ibri 46.2 degrees celsius, Qarn Alam 45.4 degrees celsius, and Mazyuna 45.3 degrees celsius.”
