Muscat: Temperatures in Oman are likely to touch 50 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature was recorded during 24 hours on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 was in Fahud, Al Dhahirah Governorate
In a statement Oman Meteorology said: “The desert and mountainous areas and parts of the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman witnessed a noticeable rise in the maximum temperatures, ranging between the middle and end of the forties yesterday, the highest in Fahud was 49 degrees Celsius.
According to the Oman Meteorology, Fahud station recorded 49°C as the highest temperature among all the weather stating during the last 24 hours, followed by Hamrat Ad Duru recorded 48.7°C, Sunyinah in Al Buraimi with 48.6°C, Ibri station with 48.°C, Zamaim in Al Wusta with 47.7°C, Maqshin 47.2°C, Haima in Al Wusta with 47.1°C, Saham in North Al Batinah with 47.3°C
