Oman reduces fees of expat work permits in Oman’s Economic Stimulus plan

Muscat: The Economic_Stimulus plan approved several incentives related to the labor market and employment, in line with the strategic directions of the national economy related to strengthening, developing and empowering the Omani workforce.

In the statement MOH said the following ;

1, Allocating 20 million in 2021 budget to train and qualify Omani job seekers to employ them in vacancies in the government and private sectors.

2, Reducing the license fees for the recruitment and renewal of the labour permits for expatriates ,

(2) of the Ministerial Resolution issued by specified in article for higher and – (2021/19), the Ministry of Labour No intermediate and technical and specialized professions and paragraph 1 of Part (3 and 2,1) specified in paragraphs for establishments and companies that 50% – 2 of Part 3 for establishments and (25%), meet Omanisation rates companies that employ an Omani workforce.
