Muscat: The courts of first instance in the governorates of Al-Buraimi and South Al-Sharqiya issued today a number of criminal judgments against violators of the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19).
The Public Prosecution began investigating nine defendants who violated the decision to prevent movement to leave during the night movement ban period and referred them to the competent courts.
Sentenced were issued against them ranging from 6 months imprisonment to a fine of 1000 Omani riyals or 1000 Omani riyals with deportation from the country for foreigners with their names and pictures published in Various local media platforms.
