    • Oman reports 2335 COVID-19 cases, 5 new deaths in 24 hours

    Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) issued its daily report regarding the numbers of cases and deaths from the Corona virus “Covid 19”, in addition to the number of inpatients and recovery rates.

    The number of people infected with Covid-19 

    The Sultanate recorded 2,335 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected with “Covid 19” since the beginning of the pandemic to 34,043 cases.

    The number of Covid-19 death for today

    5 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate to 4,153 deaths, or 1.2%.

    The numbers of the recovered cases 

    As for the number of new recoveries, it reached 1,300 cases, bringing the total of those recovered to 317,584 cases, and the recovery rate is 92.3%.

    The number of inpatients with “Corona”

    Also, 103 inpatients were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inpatients to 339, including 50 in intensive care.
