Oman reports 4,701 Covid-19 cases, 13 new deaths in 3 days

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday reports the numbers of Covid-19 cases and deaths, in addition to the numbers of inpatients and recovery rates, for the past three days “Thursday, Friday, and Saturday”.

The number of Covid-19 cases in 3 days

The ministry recorded total of 4,701 new Covid-19 cases,  2,064 cases on Thursday, 1,295 cases on Friday, and 1,342 cases on Saturday.

The total number of people infected with “Covid 19” since the beginning of the pandemic has increased to 365,700 cases.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in 3 days

The MOH reports 13 new deaths were recorded in the past three days, bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate to 4208 deaths, or 1.2%.

The number of recoveries in the Sultanate within 3 days

As for the number of new recoveries, it reached 7,141 cases in the past 3 days, bringing the total of those recovered to 341,047 cases, and the recovery rate is 93.3%.

The number of inpatients with “Corona” within 3 days

The report included the registration of 110 cases of inpatients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inpatients to 421 cases, including 87 cases in intensive care.
