Oman reports 5693 COVID-19 cases, 9 new deaths

Muscat: The Ministry of Health issued its report regarding the numbers of infections and deaths from the Corona virus “Covid 19”, in addition to the numbers of inpatients and recovery rates, for the past three days “Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.”

The number of people infected with Corona in 3 days

Within 3 days, the ministry recorded 5,693 new cases of infection, with 2,389 cases on Thursday, 1547 cases on Friday, and 1,757 cases on Saturday.

The total number of people infected with “Covid 19” since the beginning of the pandemic has increased to 336,460 cases.

Covid-19 deaths in 3 days

The ministry of health report 9 deaths were recorded in the past three days, bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate with this virus to 4,143 deaths, or 1.2%.

The number of recoveries in the Sultanate within 3 days

As for the number of new recoveries, it reached 4,640 cases in the past 3 days, bringing the total of those recovered to 31,465 cases, and the recovery rate is 93.2%.

The number of inpatients with “Corona” within 3 days

The report included the registration of 89 inpatients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inpatients to 299, including 53 cases in intensive care.
