Oman’s restaurants, cafe, Shopping centers, Indoor Sports Activities Capacity to 50% only, Supreme Committee

Muscat: The Supreme Committee in charge of discussing the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) decided in its meeting today to reduce entry to government and private auditor halls, and to reduce the entry of visitors to shopping centers, markets, restaurants, cafes, hookah cafes and Indoor sports activities to 50% of their capacity. Starting from Friday, February 12, 2021 until further notice.

And based on the role of the Supreme Committee in limiting the economic effects of the Corona pandemic (Covid 19) and to reduce the financial impact on the owners of small and medium enterprises, the committee decided to postpone the payment of installments of these institutions’ loans payable in the (previously) Al Raffd Fund for the beneficiaries for the period from January 1, 2021 until the end of June 2021 and providing facilities for the beneficiaries of the (formerly) Sanad and Livelihoods Program, which will be announced by the competent authority.
