Oman Sail celebrates the graduation of 26 trainees

Oman Sail recently celebrated the graduation of (26) trainees from the “Sawaedna” training program for graduates and students of colleges and universities, which aimed at developing and refining the skills of students and graduates and providing them with the most important knowledge and functional expertise necessary to achieve career success in various fields of work.

The graduation ceremony of the trainees was held in the main building of Oman Sail, in the presence of Dr. Hashil bin Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of Oman Tourism Development Company, and Dr. Khamis bin Salem Al Jabri, CEO of Oman Sail. With the availability of the necessary training opportunities for them in order to supply the labor market with Omani competencies qualified to occupy various jobs with high efficiency.

Dr. Khamis bin Salem Al Jabri, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Sail, commented about the programme, saying: “The ‘Sawaedna’ program is a continuation of Oman Sail’s initiatives in the field of social responsibility towards developing Omani graduates and university students and developing their various skills and functional capabilities.” Al-Jabri added, “The program was designed to provide the trainees with the best knowledge and professional expertise in order to enhance their chances of career success when joining the labor market in the future.” Governmental and private institutions. Dr. Khamis Al Jabri also confirmed that these programs and initiatives aim to achieve sustainable development goals in line with Oman Vision 2040.

The training program included several training areas distributed in the various departments of the institution, namely; Marketing, media and corporate communication, events, human resources, procurement and catering, finance, business development, and sailing. The program provided high-quality training courses interspersed with other workshops related to the development of personal and professional skills.
