Oman, Saudi Sign MoU in Nuclear and Radiation Safety

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), represented by the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field nuclear and radiation safety and protection.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority and Khalid Abdulaziz Al Issa, CEO of the NRRC.

The MoU aims at enhancing joint cooperation between Oman and the KSA in the use of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes and related activities in accordance with the regulations, instructions and laws in force in both countries. – ONA
