Oman Secures Release of 14 Foreigners Held in Yemen: Foreign Ministry

Muscat: At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to meet an appeal of government of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of India and the Republic of the Philippines, the Sultanate of Oman provided an assistance in releasing 14 person from the said countries who were held in Yemen, following a coordination with the departments concerned in Sanaa.

After communication with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to issue the necessary licenses, the persons released from Sanaa were transported onboard of a plane of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) to Muscat today in preparation to return them to their countries.
