Oman seizes over 200,000 captagon pills in drug bust

Muscat: Royal Oman Police (ROP) seize more than 239,000 Captagon tablets from an international drug trafficking network

In a statement ROP said: “The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances managed to arrest an international drug smuggling network consisting of seven people of Arab nationality, in possession of more than 239,000 tablets of Captagon and an amount of hashish.

The network was planning to smuggle the drug Captagon through the territory of the Sultanate of Oman through coordination with an international smuggler to receive and store it and then smuggle it in passenger buses using innovative concealment and camouflage methods, and completing legal procedures against the accused.”
