    Muscat: The Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs (MERA) has asked the public to look for the moon of Shawwal on Today evening (Tuesday), April 9.

    The ministry has called on citizens and residents to sight the moon to determine the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1445 AH this year. The ministry said the main moon sighting committee will meet on Tuesday evening.

    In the event of sighting the moon, the ministry has asked public to contact the offices of walis, judges, through the following contacts 24694400, 24695551, 24644037, 24644070, 24644015, 24644004.
